Résumé
This analysis aims to identify and propose corrective solutions to the grammatical difficulties encountered by first-year students at Félix Houphouët-Boigny University during the 2024–2025 academic year. It is based on the observation that these students frequently and repeatedly make errors in verb tenses, articles, prepositions, and subject-verb agreement, which hinder the clarity of their written works. We hypothesize that mastering and applying the tools of metaoperational grammar can help improve their performance. To achieve this objective, we adopted a mixed approach, combining both quantitative and qualitative analysis of the errors
